Goalpost is not like a formal language course, nor is it like a language phrase book. Instead it aims to give you a fundamental toolkit of words and sentences, so you can steadily assimilate how the language is constructed and be able to speak and understand it without too much thought.

Each level and its modules is devised around a different central theme, for example "expressing wants and needs", "giving information", "talking about prices and money" and so on.

Module 4: Expressing Appreciation

Module 5: Money

Paying, Charging, Debt, Hiring, Renting.

Module 6: Lost and Found

Losing, Finding, Searching, Getting Lost.

Module 7: Permission and Refusal

Giving and refusing permission and Saying what is allowed.

Module 8: Giving, Sending, Receiving

Giving and sending to people, and receiving from people.

Module 9: Possession

Different ways to use 'mine', 'yours', 'theirs' etc.

Module 10: Celebrity Verbs

More commonly used verbs.
